    Preparation of veneers
    The preparation is performed in local anaesthesia. It is only necessary to remove a thin layer from the tooth, so that the tooth’s hard tissue is maximally preserved and the tooth’s aesthetic can be improved with the help of veneer. After the preparation, the dentist takes an imprint and sends it to the dental laboratory. There, the veneer is made in the desired color and shape. To apply the ceramic shell, the dentist prepares the front surface of the tooth with a mild etching solution and then glues the ceramic shell to the tooth.
